RC148 + carboplatin + paclitaxel + pemetrexed is an investigational combination regimen comprising a novel bispecific antibody (RC148) with standard chemotherapeutic agents for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors, particularly in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. RC148 is a bispecific antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor and anti-angiogenesis agent, respectively. The antibody is being developed by RemeGen and has shown activity both in monotherapy and combination regimens, with combination therapy trials underway in China and Phase II trials cleared by the FDA in the United States. Carboplatin, paclitaxel, and pemetrexed are well-established small molecule chemotherapy drugs with cytotoxic activity commonly used in lung cancer and other malignancies. The combination integrates immune modulation with cytotoxic and anti-angiogenic mechanisms to potentially enhance anti-tumor efficacy in advanced, refractory solid tumors[1][4][5].
