Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RC278 is a novel antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) independently designed and developed by RemeGen for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It is a potentially first-in-class or best-in-class molecule, engineered to specifically recognize a new, proprietary tumor target (currently undisclosed). RC278 utilizes an innovative linker-cytotoxicity system to deliver a cytotoxic payload directly to cancer cells. Preclinical studies demonstrated broad-spectrum antitumor activity, manageable safety, and favorable pharmacokinetic profiles. As of 2025, RC278 is undergoing Phase I/II clinical development to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and antitumor efficacy in patients with locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic malignant solid tumors.
