Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RCells is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived vasculogenic cell therapy being developed by ReproGO. The therapy consists of iPSC-derived endothelial and vascular cells designed to promote vasculogenesis and revascularization in ischemic tissues. It is primarily targeted at treating ischemic diseases and chronic wounds, including critical limb ischemia (CLI), diabetic foot ulcers (DFU), and pressure ulcers. By providing a source of functional vascular cells, RCells aims to restore blood flow and facilitate healing in conditions where endogenous repair mechanisms are insufficient. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
