Drug intelligence / Profile preview
rCERP-HER2 is a preclinical-stage cell therapy developed by Hauul Bio using its proprietary rCERP (recombinant Cell-Engaging Receptor Protein) platform. The therapy is designed to target HER2-expressing malignancies, specifically breast cancer. The rCERP platform involves engineering cells to express receptor proteins that facilitate engagement with specific tumor antigens, thereby promoting immune-mediated cytotoxicity. In preclinical studies, rCERP-HER2 has demonstrated activity in breast cancer models and has been evaluated alongside the HER2-targeted antibody-drug conjugate Kadcyla (trastuzumab emtansine) as an external reference to benchmark its efficacy.
