Drug intelligence / Profile preview
rCSP is a recombinant full-length Plasmodium falciparum circumsporozoite protein-based vaccine. It is designed to induce an immune response, specifically anti-CSP antibodies, against the circumsporozoite protein of the Plasmodium falciparum parasite, which is a key target for malaria vaccines. It has been investigated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the prevention of Plasmodium falciparum infection (malaria), often administered with an adjuvant such as GLA-LSQ.
