Overview

RCT1213 is an investigational antineoplastic agent under early-stage development for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), also referred to as liver cancer. The drug is being developed by ReCerise Therapeutics in collaboration with the National Cancer Centre Singapore. As of 2025, its mechanism of action has not been publicly disclosed, but it is described as a new molecular entity and part of the antineoplastics class. Preclinical research and proof-of-concept studies have focused on a liver-specific protein target relevant to HCC pathogenesis. The project receives support from both Korean and Singaporean institutions, with ongoing efforts to characterize its effects using omics data from Asian HCC patient cohorts[1][2][4].
