Overview

RD133 is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy under early clinical investigation for the treatment of relapsed or refractory mesothelin (MSLN)-positive solid tumors. The therapy involves leukapheresis to collect patient peripheral blood mononuclear cells, which are then genetically modified ex vivo using a lentiviral vector to express a CAR targeting MSLN. After lymphodepletion with fludarabine and cyclophosphamide, patients receive a single infusion of the engineered CAR-T cells. The primary aim is to evaluate safety and determine the recommended phase II dose in this population. Early-phase trials are ongoing in China. **Developers:** Shanghai Tongji Hospital, First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University
