Drug intelligence / Profile preview
READAB005 is a preclinical radionuclide drug conjugate (RDC) developed by Reach Pharmaceuticals (also known as RuiZhi Biotech). It is designed to target **CD276** (also known as **B7-H3**), a transmembrane protein and immune checkpoint molecule that is highly overexpressed in a variety of solid tumors, including prostate, lung, and breast cancers, while maintaining low expression in normal tissues. READAB005 consists of a high-affinity monoclonal antibody specific for B7-H3, conjugated to a therapeutic radionuclide payload. By binding to B7-H3 on the surface of cancer cells, the drug facilitates the targeted delivery of ionizing radiation directly to the tumor site, aiming to induce double-stranded DNA breaks and subsequent cell death. This approach is intended to provide a potent therapeutic effect with reduced systemic toxicity compared to conventional radiotherapy.
