Overview

ReadyfusOR is a ready-to-use, pre-filled infusion system developed by BioQ Pharma for the management of post-surgical pain. It utilizes the invenious™ connect-and-go technology, which integrates the non-narcotic local anesthetic ropivacaine hydrochloride (0.2%) into a disposable, single-use, self-contained administration device. The system is designed to provide continuous peripheral nerve block or wound site infusion for at least 48 hours post-surgery. Ropivacaine acts as a local anesthetic by reversibly blocking voltage-gated sodium channels in nerve fibers, thereby inhibiting the conduction of nerve impulses. This product aims to reduce medication errors and manual compounding while serving as an opioid-sparing therapy.
