Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This combination therapy consists of the Realgar-Indigo Naturalis Formulation (RIF) and anlotinib. RIF is a traditional Chinese medicine-derived formulation containing arsenic disulfide and indirubin, which has shown efficacy in hematological malignancies by inducing differentiation and apoptosis of malignant cells. Anlotinib is a potent, orally active multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that primarily targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR1-3), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR1-4), platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFRα/β), and c-Kit. The combination is being investigated by Peking University People's Hospital for the treatment of platinum-resistant recurrent ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, and primary peritoneal carcinoma, aiming to leverage the anti-angiogenic effects of anlotinib alongside the potential anti-tumor properties of RIF.
