Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rebac is a medical-grade silicone gel developed by Biopharm Pharmaceutical for the prevention and treatment of scars, including surgical scars, cesarean section (C-section) wounds, burn scars, and accident-related scars. It is formulated using a proprietary 'Triple Composition' that combines medical-grade silicone, a film-forming agent (Baycusan C 1004), and natural botanical extracts (Allium cepa bulb extract and Centella asiatica extract). The gel forms a thin, water-resistant, and protective film over the scar area, which helps retain moisture, reduce inflammation, and regulate collagen synthesis to prevent the formation of hypertrophic scars and keloids.
