Overview
Rebe-L is an oral fixed-dose combination of rabeprazole and sulpiride, marketed by KEN Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal disorders. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. Sulpiride is a selective dopamine D2 receptor antagonist that, in the context of gastrointestinal treatment, acts as a prokinetic agent to enhance esophageal and gastric motility and accelerate gastric emptying. This combination is indicated for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and functional dyspepsia, particularly when symptoms are associated with both acid hypersecretion and impaired motility.
