REC-3565 is a selective small molecule inhibitor of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation protein 1 (MALT1), developed for the treatment of hematologic malignancies such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and B-cell lymphomas. It is designed to reduce the risk of hyperbilirubinemia by minimizing off-target inhibition of UGT1A1, which is associated with liver toxicity in other MALT1 inhibitors. The drug was developed using Recursion’s AI-driven multi-parameter optimization platform and has shown durable tumor regressions in preclinical studies both as monotherapy and in combination with BTK inhibitors. The Phase 1 EXCELERIZE clinical trial is currently evaluating its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy in relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphomas[4][7][9].
