REC601 is a recombinant bivalent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine developed by Jiangsu Recbio Technology Co., Ltd., targeting HPV types 16 and 18, which are responsible for the majority of cervical cancers. It utilizes recombinant protein technology with a self-developed novel adjuvant similar to AS04 to elicit strong neutralizing antibody responses against these high-risk HPV types. The vaccine is designed for prevention of HPV-related diseases, including cervical cancer, and has completed Phase I clinical trials, demonstrating favorable safety and immunogenicity profiles.
