REC604b is a preclinical recombinant 9‑valent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine candidate being developed by Jiangsu Recbio Technology as a next‑generation, novel‑adjuvanted alternative to existing HPV vaccines. It targets nine oncogenic and low‑risk HPV types similarly to first‑generation 9‑valent HPV vaccines, but incorporates a proprietary adjuvant platform benchmarking AS04 to enhance immunogenicity and enable a reduced two‑dose regimen compared with current products.
