RECCE 327 Gel is a topical formulation of RECCE 327, a synthetic polymer anti-infective being developed by Recce Pharmaceuticals. It represents one of the first new classes of antibiotics in over 30 years with a universal mechanism of action that allows it to continuously kill bacteria and multi-drug resistant superbugs. The gel formulation is primarily being developed for the treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI), including diabetic foot infections (DFI).
