Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Recombinant anti-human IL6 nanobody is a therapeutic nanobody developed through a collaboration between Creative BioMart and an undisclosed U.S. pharmaceutical giant. This nanobody specifically targets human Interleukin-6 (IL6), a key cytokine involved in immunology and inflammation. The agreement, signed in September 2013, includes the supply of bulk quantities of the nanobody by Creative BioMart and collaborative efforts for its development and commercialization as a novel immunomodulatory therapeutic for inflammatory conditions and immunology indications.
