Overview

Recombinant bovine luteinizing hormone (LH) analog is a long-acting, high-potency recombinant protein developed by Trophogen for veterinary reproductive applications. Designed as an LH receptor superagonist, the analog features amino acid substitutions in the receptor-binding domain to increase affinity by up to 100-fold and neoglycosylation sites to extend its biological half-life. It is primarily intended for the regulation of ovulation and the maintenance of pregnancy in beef and dairy cattle. The drug is currently in preclinical development.
