Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a recombinant protein subunit vaccine designed to provide acquired immunity against SARS-CoV-2, particularly its variants of concern. It is produced in Sf9 insect cells and comprises the antigen of the tandem receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the viral spike protein. The vaccine elicits specific binding antibody responses to RBD and a robust Th1-mediated interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) production, aiming to stimulate the immune system to recognize and combat the virus.
