A recombinant humanized anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody is a type of immunotherapy designed to target the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor. By blocking the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands, PD-L1 and PD-L2, this antibody aims to inhibit the negative immunoregulatory pathway that cancer cells exploit to evade the immune system. This blockade leads to the activation of T cells, thereby enhancing the body's anti-tumor immune response.
