Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Recombinant omicron-delta COVID-19 vaccine is an investigational **recombinant protein-subunit COVID-19 vaccine** developed by Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biologic Pharmacy for prevention of COVID-19. The product contains 25 micrograms of DO-RBD protein per 0.5 mL dose. DO-RBD is a tandem recombinant antigen comprising receptor-binding-domain sequences from SARS-CoV-2 Delta and Omicron variants, produced in Chinese hamster ovary cells. Vaccination is intended to induce humoral and cellular immune responses against the SARS-CoV-2 spike receptor-binding domain and thereby prevent respiratory disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection. The vaccine has been evaluated in registered adult clinical studies, including a Phase 3 study in Uzbekistan. ([clinicaltrials.gov](https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT05574985))
