The recombinant Staphylococcus aureus four-component vaccine (E. coli expression system) is a prophylactic protein subunit vaccine developed by Jiangsu Kunli Biopharmaceutical and its subsidiary Shandong Kunli Biopharmaceutical. Expressed using an Escherichia coli system, the vaccine is designed to prevent Staphylococcus aureus infections, including bacteremia, sepsis, and toxic shock syndrome. In July 2025, the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) accepted the Investigational New Drug (IND) application (acceptance number CXSL2500611) for this vaccine.
