Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination medical product consisting of recombinant type III humanized collagen and sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid). Recombinant type III humanized collagen is produced via genetic engineering to closely mimic natural human type III collagen, which plays a key role in skin structure and wound healing. Sodium hyaluronate is a form of hyaluronic acid that provides hydration and supports tissue repair. The combination acts as a dermal filler or topical dressing for skin repair, facial wrinkle correction (including forehead lines, glabellar lines, crow’s feet), scar improvement, and wound healing. Mechanistically, the recombinant collagen integrates into the extracellular matrix to support cell growth and tissue regeneration while reducing the ratio of type I/III collagen—an effect associated with improved scar outcomes. Sodium hyaluronate enhances moisture retention and further promotes healing by creating an optimal environment for cell migration and proliferation[5][6][8]. This product has been approved in China as both an injectable implantable device for aesthetic indications (e.g., dynamic wrinkles) and as a topical liquid dressing for minor wounds[5][8].
