Recombinant type III humanized collagen solution is a biosynthetic structural protein developed using recombinant DNA technology, primarily expressed in systems such as *Pichia pastoris*. It is engineered to replicate the specific amino acid sequence and triple-helix structure of human Type III collagen, a critical component of the skin's extracellular matrix (ECM) that maintains elasticity and structural integrity. Unlike traditional animal-derived collagens, this humanized version offers high water solubility, low immunogenicity, and superior biocompatibility. Administered via intradermal injection, it serves as a structural filler and skin booster to treat signs of photoaging, including periorbital wrinkles and skin laxity. Its mechanism involves direct replenishment of the ECM and the stimulation of fibroblasts to promote the synthesis of endogenous collagen. In China, it is regulated as a Class III medical device and was first commercialized by Shanxi Jinbo Bio-pharmaceutical.
