Overview

Redoxon is a brand of dietary supplements and over-the-counter medicinal products primarily centered on Vitamin C (ascorbic acid). Originally developed by Roche in 1934 as the first mass-produced synthetic Vitamin C, the brand is currently owned and marketed by Bayer. Modern formulations, such as Redoxon Triple Action and Redoxon VI, frequently combine high-dose Vitamin C (typically 1000 mg) with other micronutrients like Zinc and Vitamin D3 (colecalciferol) to support immune system health. It is commonly available in effervescent tablet, chewable, or liquid forms. Redoxon is indicated for the prevention and treatment of Vitamin C deficiency (scurvy) and is widely used as a prophylactic or supportive treatment for the common cold and to enhance innate and adaptive immune responses.
