Overview
Refigura is an approved medical device and dietary supplement developed by Kitozyme and distributed by Heilpflanzenwohl AG, intended for weight management and the treatment of obesity. It contains a combination of polyglucosamine (a proprietary chitosan extract) and glucomannan. Polyglucosamine acts as a lipid binder in the gastrointestinal tract, forming a complex with dietary fats to prevent their absorption and reduce caloric intake. Glucomannan is a highly viscous soluble fiber that expands upon contact with water in the stomach, promoting satiety and a feeling of fullness.
