Drug intelligence / Profile preview
REGENECYTE is an allogeneic human umbilical cord blood (hUCB) cell therapy developed by StemCyte Taiwan Co., Ltd. for the treatment of cerebral palsy. The therapy consists of a diverse population of cells derived from donor umbilical cord blood, including hematopoietic stem cells and other progenitor cell populations. Administered via intravenous infusion, the therapy is intended to provide neuroprotective effects, improve brain connectivity, and enhance motor function in children with cerebral palsy. The biological mechanism is thought to involve the release of anti-inflammatory cytokines and growth factors that promote neural repair and modulate the immune response within the central nervous system.
