Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RegenMatrix PRP-HA is a medical device and combination product developed by RegenLab France SAS for the treatment of moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis (Kellgren-Lawrence grade III-IV). It is an adaptation of the Cellular Matrix technology, designed to prepare a combination of autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) in a single closed system for intra-articular injection. The mechanism of action is dual: the PRP component provides a concentrated source of autologous growth factors, including platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which stimulate chondrocyte proliferation, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue repair. Simultaneously, the cross-linked hyaluronic acid provides immediate viscosupplementation, restoring the rheological properties of the synovial fluid and providing mechanical pain relief and cushioning within the joint.
