Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RegenoGel is a novel intra-articular viscosupplement and regenerative scaffold developed by ProCore Ltd for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. It consists of high molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (HA) chemically conjugated to fibrinogen using the proprietary HaProlink technology. Upon injection into the joint and activation by thrombin or tissue factors, the conjugate assembles into a solid, insoluble fibrin-HA hydrogel. This hydrogel provides mechanical protection, enhances viscosupplementation, and serves as a bioactive scaffold to promote stem cell attachment and tissue regeneration. The product exists in two forms: RegenoGel, which utilizes purified human plasma-derived fibrinogen, and RegenoGel-OSP, which utilizes autologous plasma-derived fibrinogen.
