Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**RegenoGel-SP** is an investigational intra-articular, viscoelastic hydrogel medical device developed by ProCore for moderate-to-severe osteoarthritis. It consists of fibrinogen in plasma linked to high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. After injection into the joint, the material is intended to form a stable viscoelastic gel through interactions with joint-surface-associated factors, providing mechanical cushioning, load dissipation, and joint lubrication rather than acting through a defined molecular receptor target. RegenoGel-SP was evaluated against hyaluronic acid in a completed Phase 1/2 randomized safety study. ([clinicaltrials.gov](https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT02188771))
