Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Regenopia is a preservative-free ophthalmic solution formulated as eye drops for the intensive moisturizing and regeneration of the protective barrier of the ocular surface. It is primarily indicated for alleviating symptoms of moderate to severe dry eye syndrome and supporting recovery after ocular surgery. The product contains a combination of active ingredients including sodium hyaluronate (for hydration and tear film stability), trehalose (providing bioprotective and osmoprotective effects), D-panthenol (dexpanthenol, which aids in regeneration and hydration), and in some formulations, fucoidin. These components work synergistically to moisturize the eye surface, enhance comfort, accelerate epithelial healing, stabilize the tear film, and reduce discomfort associated with dry eyes or post-surgical recovery[1][3][4][5]. Clinical studies have shown that use of Regenopia significantly reduces symptom intensity in dry eye disease patients while improving quality of life[3][4].
