Reglagene oral microtubule-targeting agents

Reglagene is developing a portfolio of orally administered, blood-brain barrier (BBB) penetrant microtubule-targeting agents (MTAs) for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. These small molecules are designed to reduce neuro-inflammation, a key driver of neurodegeneration, by modulating microtubule dynamics within the central nervous system. Unlike traditional MTAs used in oncology, these compounds are optimized for CNS penetration and are intended to provide a neuroprotective effect by addressing the microtubule-based mechanisms of neuro-inflammation. The program is currently in the discovery stage, with multiple candidate molecules being evaluated for their potential to slow or halt disease progression.
