Overview
Reglubetic is a postbiotic nutritional supplement developed by Genbioma Aplicaciones, a Spanish biotechnology company. It contains heat-inactivated *Pediococcus acidilactici* CECT 9879 (pA1c®HI), a proprietary bacterial strain that has been selectively inactivated and patented. The product works by modulating the gut microbiota and the insulin signaling pathway (IIS) to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism. It is marketed as a nutritional complement for blood glucose regulation in individuals with metabolic disorders, including diabetes, prediabetes, and gestational diabetes. Reglubetic is available in oral capsule and gummy formulations and is commercially available as an approved nutritional supplement, with ongoing clinical validation through projects such as DiabeT2Predict.
