Drug intelligence / Profile preview
REGN17092 is a next-generation monoclonal antibody developed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2 infection). It was designed to maintain potency against emerging variants of concern that escaped earlier antibody treatments like casirivimab and imdevimab. The antibody targets the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, preventing viral entry into host cells. It has been evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy volunteers.
