Drug intelligence / Profile preview
REGN3048 is a fully human neutralizing monoclonal antibody that targets the spike glycoprotein of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV). It was developed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and is designed to be used in combination with another monoclonal antibody, REGN3051, to reduce virus replication in infected individuals. In preclinical studies, the combination of REGN3048 and REGN3051 showed enhanced efficacy in reducing viral titers, lung inflammation, and pathology compared to either antibody alone.
