Overview

REGN6490 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals that targets the interleukin 36 receptor (IL-36R). It acts as an antagonist of IL-36R, thereby inhibiting the pro-inflammatory signaling mediated by this receptor. The drug was investigated primarily for the treatment of palmoplantar pustulosis, a chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by pustules on the palms and soles. REGN6490 reached phase 1 clinical trials but development was discontinued prior to completion[1][2][5][8].
