Overview

REGN7544 is an investigational monoclonal antibody developed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. It is designed to bind to and antagonize natriuretic peptide receptor 1 (NPR1), a cell surface protein involved in cardiovascular regulation. By blocking NPR1, REGN7544 aims to modulate blood pressure and heart rate responses. The drug is currently being studied for the treatment of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and sepsis-induced hypotension (shock). Clinical trials are ongoing in the United States, Canada, and France for these indications[1][3][5][7].
