Overview

Regtizumab is a preclinical-stage bispecific antibody being developed by Shaperon for the treatment of solid tumors. It is part of Shaperon's NanoMab platform, which utilizes camelid-derived single-domain antibodies (nanobodies) to create smaller, more stable therapeutic molecules. Regtizumab is designed to simultaneously target Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) and a tumor-associated antigen (TAA). By binding to both targets, the drug aims to provide localized immune checkpoint inhibition within the tumor microenvironment, potentially enhancing the anti-tumor activity of T cells while reducing the systemic toxicity often associated with conventional CTLA-4 inhibitors.
