Rehmannia glutinosa polysaccharide-copper complex is an experimental plant-derived polysaccharide coordination complex reported in a peer-reviewed mouse study of imiquimod-induced psoriasis-like skin inflammation. It was identified as a proposed active material formed when Rehmannia glutinosa polysaccharides interact with copper during preparation of Fang-Ji-Di-Huang-Decoction. In mice, the complex reportedly reproduced the decoction's dose-dependent improvement of psoriasis-like pathology and was associated with suppression of the IL-23/Th17 inflammatory axis and reduced expression of IL-17A, IL-17F, IL-22, and TNF-alpha. It is not an approved medicine and no clinical development program, sponsor, commercial manufacturer, or human clinical trial was identified.
