relacorilant

Relacorilant is an oral, selective glucocorticoid receptor antagonist and cortisol modulator developed by Corcept Therapeutics. It is designed to block excess cortisol signaling at the glucocorticoid receptor while sparing other steroid hormone receptors, distinguishing it from less selective steroid receptor antagonists. Relacorilant is approved in the United States under the brand name Lifyorli, in combination with nab-paclitaxel, for adults with platinum-resistant epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer after prior systemic therapy including bevacizumab. It has also been developed for endogenous hypercortisolism and prostate cancer, including Phase 3 studies in Cushing's syndrome and Phase 2 studies in combination with enzalutamide for high-risk localized prostate cancer.
