**Relicpixant** is a potent, selective, orally active small molecule antagonist of the purinergic P2X3 receptor, a subtype of P2X receptors involved in ATP-mediated signaling. Developed initially by Wuhan Createrna Science and Technology Co., Ltd., it targets conditions associated with P2X3 hyperactivity, such as refractory chronic cough, by blocking ATP-induced activation of sensory neurons.
