Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Relief Plus is a combination oral medication used for the relief of acute pain and muscle spasms, particularly in conditions such as arthritis, spondylitis, and musculoskeletal injuries. It contains three active ingredients: - Diclofenac (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug/NSAID) that reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. - Paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen), an analgesic and antipyretic that relieves pain and reduces fever. - Chlorzoxazone, a centrally acting muscle relaxant that alleviates muscle stiffness or spasm by acting on the brain and spinal cord. Together, these agents provide effective relief from musculoskeletal discomfort by reducing inflammation, blocking pain signals in the brain, and relaxing muscles[2][4].
