**Remedril** is an oral fixed-dose combination of phenylephrine hydrochloride and brompheniramine maleate marketed by Remed Pharmaceuticals for symptomatic management of upper-respiratory allergic and cold symptoms. Phenylephrine is a direct alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist that constricts nasal mucosal blood vessels to reduce congestion, while brompheniramine is a sedating first-generation histamine H1 receptor antagonist that reduces histamine-mediated sneezing, rhinorrhea, itching, and watery eyes. The product is supplied as syrup and oral drops and is indicated for common colds, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.
