Overview
Renadyl is a multi-strain probiotic dietary supplement developed by Kibow Biotech for the management of chronic kidney disease (CKD). It utilizes proprietary 'Enteric Dialysis' technology, which involves the use of specific probiotic strains—*Streptococcus thermophilus*, *Lactobacillus acidophilus*, and *Bifidobacterium longum*—to metabolize uremic toxins such as urea, creatinine, and uric acid within the gastrointestinal tract. By modulating the gut microbiome, Renadyl aims to reduce the systemic burden of these toxins, thereby potentially slowing the progression of CKD and improving the quality of life for patients in stages 3 and 4. The product is marketed in India through a strategic alliance with Centaur Pharmaceuticals and has been the subject of clinical trials demonstrating its efficacy in improving renal parameters and inflammatory biomarkers.
