Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RENB-HV-12 (formerly ENOB-HV-12) is an investigational therapeutic HIV vaccine candidate being developed by Renovaro BioSciences (formerly Enochian BioSciences). The program was originally licensed from Weird Science and is designed to treat established HIV infection by stimulating the host immune system to control or eliminate the virus. The candidate is currently undergoing preclinical evaluation in non-human primate (NHP) models at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, a study overseen by Dr. Hans-Peter Kiem. The research involves collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania, which provided specific viral strains for the NHP studies to evaluate the vaccine's potential efficacy.
