RenehaVis is an intra-articular injectable medical device developed by Cyathus Exquirere for the treatment of osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease. It is uniquely formulated in a dual-chamber syringe containing two different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid (HA). The first chamber delivers low molecular weight (LMW) HA, which acts as a lubricant and penetrates the cartilage to protect chondrocytes and stimulate the production of endogenous HA. The second chamber delivers high molecular weight (HMW) HA, which provides viscosupplementation to restore joint function and provide shock absorption. By mimicking the properties of healthy synovial fluid, RenehaVis reduces pain and improves mobility in affected joints, such as the knee and hip. As a medical device, its primary mode of action is mechanical joint lubrication rather than pharmacological.
