Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Renoskin is a topical ointment primarily used for the treatment and prevention of diaper rash, minor burns, and other skin irritations. It is a combination product containing zinc oxide and cod liver oil. Zinc oxide acts as a physical barrier and skin protectant, providing a soothing effect and promoting healing by creating a moisture-resistant layer on the skin. Cod liver oil, rich in vitamins A and D, supports skin regeneration and maintains skin integrity. The formulation is designed to protect the skin from irritants such as moisture, urine, and fecal matter, while facilitating the natural repair process of the epidermis.
