Drug intelligence / Profile preview
RenoVō is an equine-origin liquid amnion allograft (ELAA) developed by Equus Innovations for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries in horses, specifically tendonitis and desmitis. Composed of acellular equine amnion and amniotic fluid, it serves as a rich source of regenerative growth factors and cytokines that orchestrate the healing process in injured tendons and ligaments. As an off-the-shelf regenerative therapy, it provides a biological scaffold and signaling environment to restore tissue structure and function without the time delay associated with autologous treatments like mesenchymal stem cells or platelet-rich plasma. It is administered via local intralesional injection and has demonstrated clinical outcomes comparable to other regenerative modalities in performance horses.
