RenovoTAMP (Trans-Arterial Micro-Perfusion) is a proprietary catheter-based drug-device combination platform developed by RenovoRx. It is designed for the locoregional delivery of therapeutic agents, primarily chemotherapy, directly to solid tumors via the arterial system. The platform utilizes a dual-balloon catheter to isolate a specific segment of the artery supplying the tumor, allowing for the delivery of high concentrations of therapeutic agents (such as gemcitabine) under pressure. This pressure-mediated delivery forces the drug through the vessel wall and into the surrounding tumor tissue, significantly increasing local drug exposure while minimizing systemic circulation and associated toxicities. RenovoTAMP is currently being evaluated in the Phase 3 TIGeR-PaC trial for locally advanced pancreatic cancer and the Phase 2 CouGAr trial for extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
