Renqing Mangjue

Renqing Mangjue (仁青芒觉胶囊) is a traditional Tibetan medicine developed and marketed by Gansu Cheezheng Industrial Group (Tibet Cheezheng Tibetan Medicine). It is a classical prescription recorded in the Tibetan medical classic 'The Four Medical Tantras' (Sibu Yidian) and was officially approved by the Chinese Ministry of Health as a national protected Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1997. The medicine is formulated as an oral capsule containing a complex mixture of herbal and mineral ingredients, including processed mercury and copper, which are utilized according to traditional Tibetan pharmacological practices. While its specific molecular mechanism and biological targets are not well-defined in modern pharmacological terms, it is used to treat a variety of conditions including ulcerative colitis, peptic ulcers, herpes zoster, food poisoning, and diarrhea-type irritable bowel syndrome. It is currently marketed throughout China for indications spanning gastroenterology, neurology, gynecology, and orthopedics.
